The Inchcolm Hotel & Suites is a distinct boutique hotel, and a destination in itself within the heart of Brisbane.
The historic Inchcolm building underwent extensive refurbishment and expansion in 2014, and the hotel needed to evolve and align with the building’s contemporary Art Deco interior and unique heritage.
Our client, DAIS Brand Strategy, helped the new Inchcolm Hotel & Suites make a strong re-entry into the hotel market with a visual presence that connected to their Art Deco interiors and the building’s history.
Inspired by the Inchcolm footplate at the building’s entrance, DAIS’s creative team developed custom typography for the logotype and a visual identity to match the Art Deco lattice inside the hotel.
Using only images and emotive music, this video takes a look at what it takes to build a brand – it’s a window into DAIS’s passion and the detail and effort involved in creating a brand from idea to delivery.
It’s also a behind-the-scenes snapshot of the DAIS culture of creating brands through collaboration, teamwork and collective passion.
